| Art Club |
Are you interested in painting, drawing, sculpture, or photography? Art club may be the right place for you. All students are welcome. Join us after school on Tuesdays for an hour of art fun |
| Chorus Club |
Chorus Club is a singing club open to all SAMS students. The club will meet on Tuesdays, from 2:45-3:30 p.m. Club members will learn some of the same songs that students in the chorus classes are learning. This will allow the club members to participate in the school field trips when the chorus goes out into the community to perform. |
| Drama Club |
All roles have been cast for the first semester production of COYOTE'S CHRISTMAS CAROL and the second semester production of THE WATSON'S GO TO BIRMINGHAM. Groups will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday after school in preparation for the big shows! |
| Junior Science & Humanities Symposium |
This is a year long project in which students students design, construct and carry out their own scientific experiments. They present their findings at a DoDDS wide symposium in Tuskuba City, Japan in the Spring. This is the only Far East event in which 8th graders are allowed to take part in. |
Peer Mediation |
Students Advocating Mediated Solutions, mediation program is third year at SAMS. Peer mediators are comprised of SAMS students who were either nominated by teachers or nominated themselves. Each student is required to go through an application and interview proces as well as be trained as a mediator. Mediators represent cross section of our school community and have.

| Cross Country |
Practices begin late September and will go through late November. 2 - 3 meets will be on Saturday's in November, exact dates TBD. |
Ski and Snowboard
|
Are you interested in going skiing or snowboarding? Be on the look out in November for more club details. The trips will occur in January and February. The club requires a fee, and your own winter clothes. The club fee covers your lift ticket, rentals, transportation, instruction, and club sweatshirt. You may rent or bring your own skies and snowboard. Please see the club sponsor for more details.

| Vollyball |
This is a great place for both boys and girls to represent our fantastic middle school!. Practices are held mid-February until the end of March. We are able to compete against other foreign/international schools in and around Seoul. Most games are played on Saturdays with practices twice/three times per week. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade SAMS student can join the team.

Required Sports Forms

All students interested in the sports activities must have 3 documents on file with the Athletic Director before they can practice or compete in SAMS Athletics. The 3 documents needed are; Sports Physical, Medical Power of Attorney, & Student Code of Conduct.
Parents are strongly encouraged to put their child on a waitlist at the 121 Hospital(DSN: 737-2273) if they are having difficulty securing a timely Sports Pysical appointment. Documents submitted to SAMS will not be returned - in any format(electronically, hard copy, etc.).
