SIP Background Information
We gathered information from students, parents, teachers and significant educational research during the school year of 2006-2007. From this information, we developed two cognitive goals for implementation during the following school year, 2007-2008. We just completed the accreditation process in School year 08-09 and met the requirements established by AdvancEd Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees to be accredited by the North Central Association(NCA) Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, a division of AdvancEd. SAMS involves representatives from all of our stakeholders to develop and implement interventions to assist in reaching these goals. Our school improvement process is critically important and ongoing.
